Since the latest Windows 11 update (24H2), there have unfortunately been some issues, including problems with using VPN applications, such as GOOSE VPN. Microsoft is aware of these issues, but releasing a permanent solution through an update must be done by Microsoft itself.
In the meantime, we do have a temporary workaround for issues with the application on the most recent version of Windows 11. It is important to completely uninstall GOOSE VPN first. After uninstalling, please follow these instructions:
Create a custom folder, for example on the C: drive, with a name of your choice. In this example, we'll use 'GooseVPN.'.
Start the downloaded GOOSE VPN installation wizard (https://my.goosevpn.com/downloads). After clicking "Next" twice, click "Change" to modify the installation folder.
Browse to the custom folder you created, select the folder, and then click "Next" and "Install" to complete the installation wizard.
