3. Login
When you open the application, you will get a short introduction to GOOSE VPN. Once through this introduction you will be able to create a new account or choose to login directly.
4. Using the app
When you’ve logged in successfully you will see the main screen of the GOOSE VPN app.
There are several options that allow you to determine how GOOSE VPN should work for you.
Choose your server
When you open the server list you will be able to see and select all the servers we offer at the moment. The server that is currently selected can be identified by the checkmark on the right side of the server. Choose from which country you want to use the internet and immediately enjoy the benefits. Or use the Smart Server, which will choose the best server for you.
GOOSE VPN has four types of servers:
- Normal servers: For daily usage
- Cyber Alarm servers: To use the Cyber Alarm and get notifications of potential risks
- P2P (peer-to-peer) servers: To download
- Streaming servers: To use streaming services or stream other videos.
The Smart Server option is an option that compacts all the same type of servers (Normal, Cyber Alarm, P2P, and Streaming) for each country. Automatically the best server for your chosen location will be used. Turning or keeping this option off will however give you more control on which server you use.
Carefree internet
Is everything to your liking? Slide the switch and you are connected to GOOSE VPN.
Stay connected
Do you want to stay connected? Save trusted networks and GOOSE VPN automatically turns on and off based with the Autopilot based on the network you are connected to.
Cyber Alarm
If you have added the Cyber Alarm to your package, you are always protected and you will receive a notification when possible risks have been detected in your internet traffic. You will find a summary of these notifications and your traffic if you click on the Cyber Alarm icon.
5. Advanced settings
If you click on the toggles at the bottom right, you will reach the advanced settings. Here you can set the Autopilot and the VPN Protocol.
Autopilot
Here you can indicate whether you want to turn on the Autopilot function. GOOSE VPN will then turn on and off automatically, depending on the networks you have set as Trusted network.
Trusted networks
In this part you can indicate which networks you trust. When you have Autopilot enabled and you are connected with a trusted network, GOOSE VPN will automatically turn off.
Protocols
Here you can indicate which VPN protocol you want to use. By default you will use the IKEv2 protocol.
- IKEv2: High security and fastest speed. Compatible with newer devices.
- L2TP: Medium security, normal speed. Supports many devices.
- PPTP: Medium security, normal speed. Supports almost all devices.
- OpenVPN: Practically indistinguishable from standard HTTPS data traffic (can be masked) but is slower.
Kill switch
When you turn on the Kill switch, you are protected against DNS leaks when the connection is broken for a while. This means you are always safe online.
6. Options
When you click on the three lines at the top left, you can choose from "Settings", "Check for updates", "FAQ/Support", "Log out" and "Close GOOSE VPN".
Preferences
If you click on Settings you will arrive at the settings of GOOSE VPN. Here you can indicate whether GOOSE VPN may start automatically when you start your computer, whether GOOSE VPN may be minimised and in which language you want to use the app. At the Subscription part you can view your account details.
My account
At "My account" you will see information about your account. If you have a subscription with a specific amount of data per month/year, you can see how much data you have already used or how much data you still have left. You can also see with which email address you are logged in, which package you are using and when your package expires.
FAQ/Support
With the "Support" option you will go to our FAQ section.
Check for updates
When you click on Check for updates, GOOSE VPN checks whether the latest version is installed. If this is not the case, you will be asked if you want to install the latest version.

When you want to sign out, click Sign out.
Close GOOSE VPN
